From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph

Goodbye 20 Hello 21

Give me a sec as I polish off this bottle

It can’t shoulder all the blame tho

What a battle...I’m in my zone

Told you in my life I needed rhythm

I needed soul...take me Home

Where not enough was said

So the rest is written...

She’s been begging to be unleashed

My pen filled with her ink

Before her I undo...I just ask

Let my last breath take me to new dimensions

My death ends where her smile begins

Got me over here tearing up my speeches

In this ocean, can’t imagine how much further

She’s gonna let my anchor sink

Trying to find the right words

Trying to find...her

Yet she’s not who I deserve

There goes her illustrious curve

Yet her pearls remain concealed

Years ago I realized I was done in the field

She’s my Why

Filling me with with her love

Realizing my heart was empty

Yet she tried to remain inconspicuous

While I was busy letting the world know

Who my future Mrs is
