Some write to give,
Others to take,
In the main it's called satisfaction,
It's how we live,
Make no mistake,
Your efforts will receive a reaction.
Fact or fiction,
The choice is yours,
What you write will reveal who you are,
Will it be friction,
Or have certain allures,
Which one day will make you a star.
Writing to shock,
Can be foolish or brave,
You'll receive praise or cause aggravation,
What they unlock,
They'll detest or crave,
It all down to interpretation.
What you adore,
Others will detest,
Human nature can drive you insane,
Some ask for more,
While others are stressed,
From asking why? you must always refrain.
Critics are rife,
They're not always right,
From what you've written don't ever hide,
This is your life,
Put up a fight,
If ever you think they're being snide.
Don't feel fear,
Write what you feel,
You're in charge of your own dominion,
Just make it clear,
That what you reveal,
Is Entirely,
