Bless men who walk not with the wicked,
Nor stands in the way of sinners;
Rather helping those afflicted,
Assisting them to be winners.
Delight in the Law of the Lord,
Meditating both day and night;
While being in one accord,
His wisdom will give you insight.
He is like a tree by a stream,
That yields its fruit in its season;
Leaves wither not and reigns supreme,
Drives away evil with poison.
The ungodly wicked not so,
Are like chaff that wind drives away;
Aimlessly in the air they flow,
Find a new path to go astray.
Evil will not stand in judgment,
Nor sinners before the righteous;
Rather they will feel the torment,
Of the Lord and His justice.
For the Lord is knowing the way,
Of the righteous what they cherish;
Since the ungodly go astray,
The wicked will surely perish.
