Poetic-Verses

'' YOU ''

You do not comply,
When you tell a lie,
Against honesty it's so uncouth,
When they start to pry,
You have to deny,
In reality you're evading the truth.

When others believe,
It's you they relieve,
Why shouldn't they is what you must ask,
Those lies you weave,
It's yourself you deceive,
In reality you are wearing a mask.

It will cause regret,
When the first you forget,
Your story will then fall apart,
You can safely bet,
It's then you will fret,
To tell lies you need to be smart.

When you can't remember,
Was it June Or December?
The terror you feel leaves you cold,
Of the liars club you're a paid up member,
For you don't know which lies you've told.

When you don't agree,
Soon people will see,
That you no longer know which are real,
You'll never be free,
From your lying melee,
When the truth you refuse to reveal.

To stop or go on,
You continue to con,
That's when you ask yourself, who?
Those lies you spawn,
Soon leave you withdrawn,
For the only one listening is,

‘' You ‘'
