Half a Heart
You're in my mind, my heart ,my soul
How can I start over without you ?
You took half my heart when you left me
How can I love again with only half a heart.
I try so hard to feel with someone the way
that I felt with you,
It will never be the same you see
My heart just isn't in it
But yet I can not bear the thought of being alone,
The rest of my life alone.
Your birthday came and went, no celebration here
No presents , no party, just tearful remembrance.
Sad and weary I rest my head upon your stone.
How could this be? How can you be gone when
you are alive in my memory, my heart.
Alone I am, My soul wants to leave with you.
