All our days pass away,
Under the wrath of the Lord;
Our years end since we stray,
His commandments are ignored.
As life is three score and ten,
Stretching out to eighty years;
When we have the final amen,
As loved ones shedding their tears.
The span of toil and trouble,
Are gone as we fly away;
God pulls us from the rubble,
To see the eternal day.
Who knows the power of wrath,
The anger coming from His fear;
When is crossing our path,
He knows we are not sincere.
Learn to number our days,
To get a heart of wisdom;
Realizing how one obeys,
For entering His Kingdom.
How long to take to return,
To God who will have pity;
If you repent you will learn,
For entering His city.
Be satisfied with His grace,
Rejoice in steadfast love;
Be glad to feel His embrace.
As blessings flow from above.
Become glad as many days,
That evil afflicted us;
Worship and praise to always,
Through the many years as thus.
Let the Lord work within you,
Your children glorious power;
Knowing that His Word is true,
Waiting until our hour.
Let the favor of the Lord,
Set up work of our hands;
For working in one accord,
And following His commands.
