Assemble yourselves and come here,
You survivors of the nations;
All of you together draw near,
Forget this world and its tensions.
Those have no knowledge of idols,
Keep praying to God who can save;
Others like horses with bridles,
That are guided into the grave.
Declare in presenting your case,
Let them take counsel together;
The God of glory will grant grace,
To the righteous who will gather.
Who has told of this long ago,
Who has declared it that was old;
Was it not the Lord that does know,
That of the Scriptures have been told.
A righteous God and a Savior,
Turn onto Him and He will save;
Mercy and grace shines its favor,
Never for letting sin enslave.
By Himself, the Word has gone out,
Onto Him every knee shall bow;
Swearing allegiance without doubt,
As every tongue confess a vow.
Only in the Lord it shall be,
In Him are righteousness and strength;
Being humbled by His decree,
Let it persevere at full length.
In the Lord all of the offspring,
Shall glory and be justified;
For the salvation it will bring,
Of honoring the crucified.
