Silver Strands
Flows life in strands upon the shore,
in silver sparkles and much more
All glitter new and shiny bright
Shimmer silver strands by the light
And endless days from embers rise,
like silver smoke strands to the skies,
begotten from each accomplishment,
the silver lining from clouds sent
The work we do, the love we make,
a garland of silver strands to take
us through the daily walk of life
Success shimmers greater than the strife
Until one day the life winds down
Upon my head just like a crown,
the silver strands I wear today
The life I've lived upon display
