 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

In our faith we all died,
Not received the promised things;
Nobody had ever lied,
As to what our Lord brings.
But having seen and greeted,
Acknowledged they are strangers;
Exiles on earth needed,
As for knowing the dangers.
People who speak make it clear,
They are seeking a homeland;
Saying such things to declare,
Of the things God would demand.
If they had thought of that land,
From which that they had gone out;
They would have a chance to stand,
Return without any doubt.
They hope for a better place,
That is a heavenly one;
Where the Lord shining His grace,
Glory brighter than the sun.
Wherefore God is not ashamed,
For a city He prepared;
That believers have proclaimed,
In the Gospel that is shared.
