ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE – III (DIRECT AND INDIRECT CODING)

JOY SUN

Our perceptions make up the eight (8) major parts of speech which are nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, and interjections. Therefore, cognition, speech and action are based on coding these groups of words and using them internally (cognition or mute intelligence) and in actions (commands) and speech, and involves a toggle between each to form actions, statements or speech. There are two (2) forms of coding which are:
1. Direct Coding and
2. Indirect coding (or sub-coding)

DIRECT CODING

This involves assigning all words (matched with pictures) and arranged alphabetically in the helix memory of the Chick Bingo, a number, and using the numbers (usually separated with a period) in replacement for them in Cognition (Pronotion, Connotion and Notion), speech and action (Promotion, Commotion and Motion) commands. For example, if the words “Be”, “I”, “There” and “Will”
assumed the numbers 26, 360, 450 and 8000 in a Chick Bingo's orderly and alphabetically arranged helix (word-picture match memory), then the statement “I will be there” would be rendered or coded as:
360.8000.26.450

INDIRECT CODING (SUB-CODING)

This involves assigning the numbers 1 to 9 to each part of speech with 1 for Nouns, 2 for Pronouns, 3 for Adjectives, 4 for Verbs, 5 for Adverbs, 6 for Conjunctions, 7 for Prepositions, 8 for Interjections and 9 for Articles and placing the numbers they assume in the Helix memory in a bracket beside the number of the part of speech they belong to. Thus, in indirect coding (or sub-coding), the statement “I will be there” would be rendered or coded as:

2(360).4(8000).4(26).5(450),
considering the words specific number in the Helix.
Where a particular word assumes more than one part of speech, each part of speech is given a specific word-picture entry and its particular number. Punctuations and symbols are given their word-picture match entry numbers also, and may be inserted directly where they fall in-between (or even after) words in statement codes. An example of this is found in the statement: “Thank you very much, Sir”, which may be directly coded (if the word “Much” assumes 681, “Sir”, 704, “Thank”, 802, “Very”, 941, and “You”, 1018) as:
802.1018.941.681,704 (Direct Coding) and
5(802).2(1018).5(941).5(681),1(704) (Indirect Coding).Any punctuation mark may be used this way.
Direct and Indirect coding can be done in all languages, provided they are written with the basic 26 English alphabets. Direct and Indirect Coding may also be applied where other characters or alphabets order than those of the English language are used, by simply giving them a word-picture match and a number. Thus it is possible to have a CB with a helix comprising and functioning in two or more languages, in which case, the word-match dictionary-encyclopedia for each language are either mixed, CALLED RAMBLED SENSE or separated, called SEPARATED SENSE. Each word-picture match is automatically updated in the Helix bank as new ones are introduced or brought in by pronnotion or learning.

CHICK BINGO VOICE

The CB's voice/ words include all the words in the dictionary as well as symbols, read singly in by a human voice with their single (not combined or joint) accent, I.e in such a way as to make them readily produce a statement when combined.

CHICK BINGO PROGRAMMING

PRONOTION

This is a program using direct or indirect coding to accept or refuse word-picture match data into the Helix.

CONNOTION

This is a program using direct or indirect coding to process or render useful or useable, word-picture match data into the Helix.

NOTION

This is a command given to the CB which it acts on or carries out.

PROMOTION

This is a program used to prepare the CB for action.

COMMOTION

This is a program used to co-ordinate, initiate or stop action.

MOTION

This is an action carried out by the CB.
