Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Paradox

An inconsequential accident of nature
Forever meaning nothing in time
Across the expanse of an endless universe
Stumbling through life as though blind…
Created from seeds tainted with anger
Discontentment running through our veins
Destroy what is built to validate our cruel life
Turning love into nothing but pain.
The human race has worn out it’s welcome
In a world that could easily die
A world that is choking on our constant evolution
As each darkening day pass us by.
We are trapped in the raptor of never ending glory
As each new milestone comes into view
Pretending we understand the consequence of living
When nothing is farther from the truth.
I know I’m the cause of my own destruction
Paradoxically it’s my desire to live…
The irony being the more that I understand
The less I am willing to give.
