Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Passing the time

Just down the road and around the next corner
There was one short man…
And one that was taller
They talked of the weather to pass the time
One thought it chilly…
The other sublime?
They cared very little of whom passed them by
The short one looked downwards
The tall one to the sky…
Until all had gone and the coast was clear
Then the short one sipped whiskey
The tall one drank beer.
