BE WITH US DEAR LORD .. """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Written by S. C. Mitchell 9th July 2021 """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" LORD - as we walk in the shadows - In the valleys - in that place where the sun Rarely shines - be with us dear LORD - in the Shadows - and don't let us go - as we walk - In these uncertain times . LORD - as we walk in the valley of Heartaches - where each day - we seem Locked up in deep-rooted pain - be with us Dear LORD - in the sorrows - and free Us from grief's binding pain . LORD - as we walk in the heat of The desert - where our parched soul is Thirsting for rain - be with us dear LORD - in The sun scorched land - and restore And refesh us again . And - LORD - as we walk in green Pastures - with a sweet sense of joy in Our heart - be with us dear LORD - so we Never forget - all the goodness and Love - You so freely impart . Yes LORD ...... Because You are with us ... We will thank You in all the dark Shadows - and times of our heartache And pain - and the places - where all around Us are barren - for want of Your Life-giving rain . But - most of all - we will thank You Dear LORD for Your mercy - and all the Goodness You have shown - over and over Again - when You brought us into Your Kingdom of Love and forgiveness And took away all our sin - And our Shame . Yes LORD ..... Thank You for Your Loving Kindness - that You lavish on us - In so many ways - and - may we never Forget Your Salvation and care - And say - thank You - dear LORD - every day . """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Dear friends .. I wrote this poem two days before I heard the news of the loss of one of my grandchildren .. So I know what it is to say ' Thank You ' to the Lord in the midst of heartache and pain .. And .. I also know that He hears and answers our heart cry .. and is walking with us in the times of sorrow .. I pray for anyone who needs His touch today that you will cry out to Him .. and He will hear you .. and be with you . God bless you all With His love and peace Always XX Vote for this poem
