WHILE THE LORD CAN STILL BE FOUND """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Written by S.C.Mitchell 22nd June 2021 """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" When all is smooth and calm With no breeze to stir the trees - and With no cloud to hide the sun - and the World seems all at ease - that is the time to seek The Lord - and thank Him for His loving grace And for all the goodness He has shown In giving us - this quiet - restful Place . And - when the earth is raging - And the threat of war is all around - That too is when we need to cry out for His mercy - while the Lord can still be found For our God will not forsake us - in the Times of tempest - and unrest - for He will hide us - in the shadow of His wings - until the storm Has passed . For - our God is seeking those - Who will take Him at His Word - and Will thank Him in all seasons - and trust Him as Their mighty God - for He has placed His courage Deep within our spirit - and our soul - and Through the fire or the deluge - as we Trust Him - He will bring us Through - and make Us whole . For it's not the life of ease - that Makes a soldier - or a warrior for the Lord - but - it's courage - and the arm of faith That wields the mighty sword - for - as diamonds Come through pressure - when the rocks are Blast in two - so the Lord brings forth His Glorious Church - through brokenness - And fortitude - and then makes Us brand new . And what a Glorious sight that would be . """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" There are times through great difficulties and trials in our lives where we have to stand our ground and be counted for that which is good ... And through all the uncertain times .. and in the good times we need to draw close to the Lord while He can still be found .. and to trust that He will be with us and will help us .. and make us courageous and strong .
