DEDICATION

Pregnancy

The Aphekhians have a way of talking, and you just have to mind your business when you hear them. The English word "Accident" is usually fragmented by them into two composites, an English word "Ask" which means to question, and an Aphekhian word "Iden", meaning "Men". So, when they hear the word "Accident", they would say "Ask Iden", a rhyme of it meaning "Ask men". The women usually say this. "Iban", on the converse is the Aphekhian word for "women". Similarly, on hearing the word "Accident" the men usually reply "Ask Iban", meaning "Ask women". What the Aphekhians mean is that falling into immoral temptations or getting pregnant is a question both men and women should answer since they pose temptations to one another, with the men impregnating the women while the women carry the pregnancies. So, to them falling into an immoral temptation or getting pregnant is an accident.
