By Example, July 2021

So named by one John Bright
Over a century and a half ago
His  Mother of Parliaments reduced
To charade of a puppet show
Where might is right
With no right to ask why
The man at the top is
Constantly allowed to lie

She stood before the world
Where she ruefully smiled
And before world was punished
Like a naughty errant child.
She'd called a spade a spade
With a show of Democratic fire
When she affirmed to that World
She'd no time for a proven liar.

What an example to any child
Who may wonder why
It seems an accepted thing
That a man may blatantly lie.
Apparently in the House.
They have a little rule
So treated her like a juvenile
And excluded her from school.

On 22 July 2021 a Member of the English Parliament
publicly called the Prime Minister a liar.
As a punishment she was banned from the House for
the rest of thst day.
