The Backyard Of My Life

Love In Colour

Tonight i noticed you were talking to me
Without saying a single word
Looking in your eyes i watched you walk away
While you where playing with your hair
She was looking like a goddess
Her jeans were frayed and torn
She made me a believer now i am reborn

Up until that point my life was
Empty dreams a rainbow of black and white
Lonely hearts dark days of endless night
Never knowing who i could turn to
When she stepped in out of the blue
You give me love in colour girl

Like a strangers wheel abandoned in the rain
I had become invisible
A man of misery sorrow and pain
The picture had faded the sky was cracked
I was locked inside of a photograph
Enchanted by the magic way you move
She whispered follow me down into the groove

So far from that moment my life
Was ups and downs and merry go rounds
Like flowers in the dirt i was kicked around and hurt
Never knowing who i could be
When she shines a light on me
Spreading love in colour

Now everything looks beautiful
Now i feel alive and wonderful
I've got the whole world in my hands

You got me crawling out of my skin
To catch a glimpse of something real
Its like you read my mind you know how i feel
I was blind before but now i can see
Your way is my way you belong with me
Shes very intellectual shes also soft and sweet
I waited for ten thousand years for the chance to meet

Up until that point my life was
Empty dreams a rainbow of black and white
Lonely hearts dark days of endless night
Never knowing who i could turn to
When she stepped in out of the blue
You give me love in colour girl
You give me love in colour girl
You give me love in colour girl
