Dear Nanna, I write to thank you.
Your love, your warm sweet smile
gave us comfort.
Your strength and kindness shone through.
Your family adored you, and you were a
shining star, that glimmered amongst dark
times.
I write to thank you, for simply been you.
To some you were a teacher, and a confidante
and friend.
Your courage in times of adversity, is the
main thing that helped you to carry on.
Dear Nanna, I write to thank you.
You inspired all who came into your life.
You were a supportive and loving wife.
You are the angel of our hearts.
Your grandchildren and great grandchildren,
brought you joy and happiness.
Nanna, thank you for showing us the way.
And most of all, thank you, for the way
you brightened up our day.
To Nanna, R.I.P.
