My Poetry
Winter's Cold Weather
Snowflakes falling on the cold ground
A blanket of white fluff is all around
Glistening from the rays of the sun
The lowest temperature is not fun
The coldest day has yet to come
Yet the wind has us feeling numb
Snow is pretty for us to see
Inside is where we rather be
Sitting by the fire side
With God's Word I abide
Snuggled up on the sofa
For me, no cup of mocha
Winter wind blasts at our home
Making us chilled to the bone
Wrapped up in a blanket
A moment of being thankful
Trees covered in a white snow
The wind's causing it to blow
Hearing the sound of the wind
Being warm inside, I don't mind
Snowed in, is okay with me
Staying in, safe I'll be
Snacking on milk with a cookie
While covered with a blanket that's wooly
A blanket of white fluff is all around
Glistening from the rays of the sun
The lowest temperature is not fun
The coldest day has yet to come
Yet the wind has us feeling numb
Snow is pretty for us to see
Inside is where we rather be
Sitting by the fire side
With God's Word I abide
Snuggled up on the sofa
For me, no cup of mocha
Winter wind blasts at our home
Making us chilled to the bone
Wrapped up in a blanket
A moment of being thankful
Trees covered in a white snow
The wind's causing it to blow
Hearing the sound of the wind
Being warm inside, I don't mind
Snowed in, is okay with me
Staying in, safe I'll be
Snacking on milk with a cookie
While covered with a blanket that's wooly
