O man of God, flee these things,
For pursuing righteousness;
With the faith and love it brings,
Will be giving godliness.
Fight the good fight of your faith,
Take hold of eternal life;
So that darkness does not wraith,
Causing you toil and strife.
For you which you have been called,
Making the good confession;
Curing where you have been flawed,
To witness your profession.
I charge you in the presence,
Of God who gives life to all;
Testimony in essence,
For witnessing of your call.
Keep the commandment unstained,
Free from a reprehension;
With question fully explained,
For having comprehension.
For God at the proper time,
In showing the Sovereign Lord,
Of judgment of any crime,
That another has ignored.
For He is the King of kings,
As well as the Lord of lords;
To what His righteousness brings,
Of the morality towards.
He has immortality,
And in unreachable light;
No accessibility,
Without favor in His sight.
