We'll have our final sleep together, the way it has to be
My lifelong friend who ate the treats always loving me
The morning wake up licking my face loved it
He smiled with tail wags he just wanted out
When I left and came home he killed me with love
A wagging tale with kisses all round
When doing things around the house we shared the paint
He's been pink, he's been gray, every color I used
I love my wee guy for the rest of my life
When the time comes for the final sleep
I want my best pal with me
