Self Sufficiency

Lord Botham's taken time off
From selling things for your feet
In charge of Australian trade
Now that the deal's complete.
I hope his leadership's improved
Because I must confess
As out Test Match Captain
He made a great mess.
Crops stand rotting
There in the field
What a sad waste of
A whole year's yield
The supermarket manager
Said that he was so sorry
Nobody was available
To drive their lorry
Couldn't do a thing
About the empty shelves
We're all going to have
To fend for ourselves
Raw ingredients are there
If you take a look
Be like your parents and
Learn how to cook.
Mackie Dees have run
Out of  milk for drinks
Shouldn't be for long
Hopefully he thinks.
The chicken man said
Production was down
Nobody to deliver them
From town to town.
But the thing that
I really don't get
Our Christmas turkey
Could be under threat.
But I've got me passport
And it's a lovely dark blue,
Sadly made in France,
But it'll more than do.
Boris is there and
He's  in charge
Priti Patel's keeping
The immigrants at large,
It won't be long before
We're on the right track
We are little britain and
Got our Country back
(Unless there comes
That sad sad day
Scotland says goodbye
To go off on its own way.)
I can't really say now
That me joy is complete
Because the Anti Vaxxers
Are blocking the street
Rule Britannia, Britannia
Still  Rules the Waves
On Zero Hours Contracts
As Minimum Wage Slaves.
