The Backyard Of My Life

Apple Of My Eye

Apple Of My Eye

When winter comes to cast a shadow
Over the moon made of gold
Shes flying without wings up in a velvet sky
Shes a ruby red rose apple of my eye

After midnight in the dirty driving rain
While wishes are made on silver shooting stars
When the swallow fly's it makes me wonder why
Always and forever shes the apple of my eye

You do something to me
What a wonderful feeling
When all is said and done
You got a hold on my heart

At the turning of twilight in the setting sun
When a cloudburst sparkles like snow
Shes my inspiration when the rivers run dry
Shes a jewel in my crown apple of my eye

When the night comes crashing down
Watching candles burn down low
Shes dancing around blows a kiss goodbye
Shes a diamond queen apple of my eye
