Lord Jesus, You’re Always There
Lord Jesus, I thank You for all that You have done
I know that I've been in situations that weren't fun
You came when everyone else walked away from me
You stayed with me when I was alone; with You, I'm free
You mended my broken heart; You healed me from the pain
And You not only saved me, You broke every binding chain
In Your presence, I am free, and I don't have to be afraid
You have heard me when I came before You and prayed
No matter the situation, I will praise and worship You
I want to always follow You and stick to You like glue
Always, I'll keep my focus on You; You'll be the one I look to
And I know that when I look to You, I will never have to be blue
It's time to get on the spiritual ark so that I will not drown in what may come
Time is short and it's running out; this is not the time nor the hour to be numb
It's the time to be awake and to keep watch for I do not want to be caught sleeping
For if I were caught sleeping, it would not be a pleasant experience for I will be weeping
