Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Tomorrow will come

The sun is setting, the sky is gray
And the clouds are gathering up high
A cool breeze is blowing and the night birds are calling
As another day in my life drifts on by.
There is a forecast for rain and I can see the clouds darkening
So many storms that will soon rupture the sky
Lightening beams will shoot through the heavens
As I snuggle up cosy inside.
I’ll switch on my telly and see what’s worth watching…?
Maybe a comedy to lighten the air?
A few sweet biscuits and a hot cup of coffee
Forget all my worries and cares.
Tomorrow will bring whatever will happen?
We can only hope no more disasters will reign?
But whatever will be… will be without wishing
As tomorrow will come just the same!
