Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Edging their bets

Dark clouds are forming, the heavens are angry
Hurricane’s build strength cross seas
The oceans are roaring and foaming with fury
Tornado’s rip through communities.
Fires are burning in nearly every nation…
The heat on the ground is too high…
Big chimney’s still churning out tons of pollutants…
While those making cash watch us die.
It could already be that we are too late
To change the course we have set?
The problem is everyone is waiting…
While the rich are still edging their bets.

It is only the large corporations that create pollution…
And large communities that breath it all in!!!
