The Backyard Of My Life

Don't Come Crying To Me Tonight

I've got no time or sympathy for fairy tales you spin
Another day another problem what a mess your in
Little lies rolling of your tongue tie you up in a knot
A magnificent performance there's something she forgot
Teardrops are always so well timed they sparkle in the light
Keep your darkness far away don't come crying to me tonight

With plenty of patience warnings and adequate advice
You can fool me once but you never gonna to trick me twice
Like a house of cards when the sky comes crashing down
Drama queen hypocrite heavy lies her fake plastic crown
Every situation she pretends is not so black and white
Looking for attention don't come crying to me tonight

Its the same old story you've sold a million times before
I'm not interested in what your selling
So don't come around here no more
Praying on this tender heart of mine
No matter what you do you will never make rust shine

There she goes again lathering illusions searching for some pity
She knows only to well turning on the water works isn't very tricky
Behind her mask of broken promises its an endless charade
Shattered dreams white lines mirror and a razor blade
I cant stand to look at you go get out of my sight
Go bother someone else don't come crying to me tonight

I've heard enough of the far fetched fiction inside her head
I failed to find a word of truth in anything she said
What goes around comes around she'll be sorry in the end
Shes a toxic personalty shes a psychotic phony friend
You can give it all you got girl try as you might
Your wasting your time don't come crying to me tonight
