 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Having put away your falsehood,
Let each of you speak the truth;
And let it be understood,
Be humbled and not uncouth.

Be members to each other,
Speaking truth to your neighbor;
Treating them as a brother,
Helping them in their labor.

Be angry but do not sin,
Let not darkness see your wrath;
Never letting Satan win,
Nor having him cross your path.

Let the thief no longer steal,
But rather let him labor;
Doing honest work with zeal,
Fess as to Christ the Savior.

Allow no corrupting talk,
To come from your lips and tongue,
Only good things as you walk,
Allowing grace to be flung.

Grieve not the Holy Spirit,
For the day of salvation;
He assists in your merit,
Blocking any temptation.

Stop all bitterness and wrath,
Spoken evil or slander;
To bathe in a righteous bath,
Let not foul thoughts meander.

Be kind to one another,
Tenderheart and forgiving;
Treat as sister and brother,
In harmonious living.
