They stride the world
As the Master Race,
Vainly talk of their
Conquering Space.
The Earth Twitches
The Earth shakes
Volcanoes erupt
As the Earth quakes.
Ice bergs melt
Avalanche slide
Tsunami flow
Planet wide.
Pandemics rage as
Nature moves on
The Master race
Now almost gone.
Pushed back to basics
Will they survive
Do they still have
That vital drive.
In spite of assumptions
Of their own worth
They were only lice
On the face of the Earth,
Just a speck of dust
Almost lost
In the vastness of
Expanding Cosmos.
