Just For Thought

                  “TIME FLIES BY”

          

          I couldn't wait to be a “mommy”

          Hold your hand and watch you grow.

          Hear your laughter as you played all day.

          It went so fast, where did time go?

          

          You’re almost 30 now. I miss you.

          Those hugs and little smiles.

          It seems like only yesterday.

          I’d like it back, just for a while.

          

          My little tykes have bounced away.

          To make memories of their own.

          I hope they’ll savor everything…

          Time flies by and then they’ve grown.
