Bless the Father of our Lord,
The God of mercy and comfort;
Comforting those who has adored,
And the afflictions to avert.
Comfort from a comforting God,
Through trial and tribulation;
The God that we honor and laud,
And who has offered salvation.
For as the sufferings abound,
Through Jesus we share in solace;
For He hears our pleading sound,
And will respond with His embrace.
If we have become afflicted,
It is comfort and salvation;
Whatever that has conflicted,
His comfort brings a cessation.
For the suffering we suffer,
Our hope will be unshaken;
Because Christ is our buffer,
Knowing we are not forsaken.
You should never be unaware,
Ignorant of our trouble;
I am always willing to share,
For pulling out of the rubble.
I have felt the sentence of death,
But God has raised me from the dead;
While breathing in a new breath,
Giving me a new life instead.
He delivered me from peril,
And will deliver me again;
Clothing me with white apparel,
Guiding me righteously from sin.
You must assist during your prayer,
Giving thanks on my benefit;
Showing God that you really care,
And you are spiritually fit.
