'' We Know It Will All End In Tears ''
The politician when fired,
A new mission, required,
The new one, must never tell lies,
So fair, that's rare,
Where, don't dare,
Our leaders must not have snake eyes.
Exaggeration in narration,
Altercation by dictation,
I'm afraid are not traits we'd accept,
To hear and adhere,
Make clear, no fear,
World leaders, must not be inept.
Pragmatic, not static,
Emphatic, not dramatic,
A person the people will follow,
Be true, see it through,
Review and pursue,
Promises made, must never be hollow.
To preside and guide,
Doesn't hide, not snide,
Won't run, when the going gets tough,
To make, a mistake,
Stay awake, don't forsake,
As for loyalty, we can't get enough.
To lead, not bleed,
Main seed, no greed,
Now that's what I call, a big ask,
To fight, what's right,
To excite, be polite,
This all seems, an impossible task.
Does this list, exist,
Don't insist, it's dismissed,
Though we've searched now, for hundreds of years,
Cynicism, pessimism,
Optimism, Realism,
