Mirrored Memories

Mirrored Memories

Reflections, corrections - shimmering deflections.
Shining surface. Still as a pond.

A clone of the viewer, looking back at the inner - self.

It's me looking back at myself - a mimic - copy - doppelganger.
These mirrored memories, recorded in glass plain surface.
Shimmering with a looking back at me.

Reflections, deflections - - unedited corrections, diluted.
Dissolved, with no conclusion, or ideas of a different mindset,
resolved.

A shimmering doorway to the external being, reflecting back
the person in the mirror, unaware of the reality of the human
you are seeing.

Through this looking glass, reflecting images of the environment
around. Shiny surface, silver coated framed jewel.

Deflects, reflects and shows purity unbound.

A glint, a speck of dust, clinging to a fragment
of the human soul.

Aged, worn as the casing of a grandfather clock.

Tick - tock - tick tock; time passes and in doing
so, takes its toll.

These mirrored memories they dissolve, faded images
blurred vibrations, slightly out of sinc.

Reflections of the here and now, they simply hold
the key.

Deflecting the reality of what you actually see.
Cracks appear, to erase the features of the person
before you, that you once knew.

Your very essence hidden on the opposite side,
trapped in stasis, void of light, completely out of
view.
