I love the little things that do not
require a rush.
People who enjoy the moment &
are never in a hurry.
Like when strangers sing
in the middle of the mall
or even the hospital I work in.
The sweet melody
of a person I've never met before
& will likely never
see again.
I fall in love
with them for a time,
as they bring me
untold joy.
Feel as though
I owe them my life.
Thank you
for giving me
a reason to live.
Even if it's just
for a few minutes.
