Pipe Dream
Life isn't worth living
when she's gone.
I used to love
to hear the birds chirp.
But even that
holds no meaning now.
They stripped me
of my motherhood.
Took away my pride.
They robbed me of
my will to live.
I live for nothing.
Just a pipe dream
of getting her back.
I have no hope
but refuse
ever to give up
Pain is more like agony.
When will all this end.
