Baby, did you mean it
when you said
you would never
leave my life.
I had to fight back
tears.
Even poetry
can't convey
my burning love
for you.
We have the same dream ~
a more beautiful
tomorrow.
And the way you hold me
in your arms...
the way you bury
your lovely face
in my chest &
wish to sit within me
as I love you forever.
