How Could You!
Who are you to say
Whom I can or cannot love!
You broke down
the walls
of passion.
Sacred kisses
nevermore.
Unlocked beautiful
secrets of lovers
ne'er to be
tampered with.
How could you
destroy
the love of a lifetime
we enjoyed.
Holding hands and kissing
like two lovebirds.
Like high school sweethearts
introduced through
social media
in our prime.
Love exalted
to the skies.
Shattered
though we would have
stood the test of time.
No method
to your madness.
No reason
to your rhyme.
Salty unsavory tears
I cry.
Wishing I
could lay down & die.
Why oh why
did you kill
the love we had.
That we'd built
to last forever.
Demolished
in the blink
of an eye.
