Past Infinity
Past Infinity
Her words
keep running
through my mind:
"Love you past infinity."
The ones in command
could not defend
ending our eternity.
Like a bicycle
that ne'er stops
reminding me
of the bitter end
brought about
by her mom & pops.
They had no business
in our love.
Unbridled virtual love affair
after our first date
in clean fresh air.
Polluting the velvet love
we made.
Internet secrets
thrice betrayed.
Kisses I cannot
let go of.
Running naked
in my mind.
She patted me
on my behind.
Can we save
this murder'd love
bloodied like
a pure white dove,
stoned to death,
its final breath.
Can it be brought back
to life.
Our love,
our life,
should not mean
eternal strife.
I kissed her
& loved her
with all my heart
& soul, for life.
How can someone
take away
the one I wished
to make my wife.
All's not fair
in love & war.
The slamming of the
timeless door.
Kisses in the day
& night.
They destroyed it all;
we lived in fear
that they might someday
domineer
our love,
our passion,
our defense to being queer.
This beautiful woman
I held so dear.
Twisting daggers
through our hearts.
Never wanting
to depart.
Her warm embrace,
her smiling face.
No words to put
our love in a box.
The tick-tocks we
assumed were clocks,
only to realize
they were time bombs.
The demise of a perfect love,
so fine.
Rose petals
& expensive wine
cheapened to
thorned weeds & beer.
All because
we're genderqueer.
Love overthrown
by parental hate.
Dreams taken down,
my queen robbed of
her glorious crown.
Her gold and satin
throne divine.
A love
ne'er forgotten,
ne'er to be disowned.
I'll love her
'til the end of time.
She said we'll be
together in time.
I'll fight them
when circumstance allows.
So we can smile &
they can flee.
A love so perfect,
a love so pure.
One that always
will endure.
