David V's Goliath

David V's Goliath

These men came conquer, on hot sand.
Sun burning through their souls, fighting side by side
and hand to hand.

A crowd forms a ring, a ready mad arena, for a fight to
the death. As two warriors clash, blow by blow, until
one succumbs to their last breath.

Step forward, the leviathan known as Goliath, with the
strength of a hundred men.
Enter a shepherd boy named David, to fend off this
mighty fo. As he heads into the lion's den.

The sound of Persian steel cuts through the air
like a thousand lightening bolts, striking the sand.

Our hero David steps forward with stone and sling shot
in hand.
With three swings, he lets loose a giant rock, it soars
through the air like an arrow; striking the mighty giant
in the head.

He fell to the ground, blood streaming down his face,
as he lay dead. The bigger they are, the harder they
fall. Goliath was over seven feet tall.

Here in this tale, hides an element of history.
An old testament one written with references of Biblical
mystery.

A shepherd boy named David, claimed victory and glory.
He showed us we can conquer anything.
So we can face those who appose us.

Then we can become the hero in our own glorious
story.

As David, an unknown warrior came out of the darkness
and stepped into the light.
