My Poetry
A Blistery Cold Winter's Night
Snowflakes plummet to the frozen terrain
A cold icy blanket of white is everywhere
The sunlight is causing the snow to glisten
The frozen temperature is definitely no fun
I don't think that I've seen the coldest day yet
The blistery wind is making me numb to the bone
I do not mind the snow; I dislike the ice on the ground
Inside is where I rather be at this moment
I'm sitting in front of the fire
God's Word I read to abide
I'm snuggled up on my sofa
For me, some milk and cookies
The blistery wind slam against my home
It's causing all of us to be chilled to the bone
Snuggled under the blanket
Feeling thankful for everything
Oh how the trees are covered in blankets of snow
Oh how the snow is starting to drift due to wind
Hearing the strong wind blow outside my home
I do not mind being warm inside my cozy abode
I rather be snowed in than to be out in the cold
By staying in, I'll be safe and warm
Snacking on whatever I can find in the kitchen
While I'm snuggled under my blanket feeling warm
The snow's up to my knees
It's better to be cozy inside
Than to freeze to the bone
And taking a chance of falling
My coat and winter wear are hung up
They will stay there until I have to leave
I am tucked up in front of the fire
And I plan on staying there for as long as I can
The fire's cracking and beautiful to watch
Just listening to my favorite music
Reading the Bible to gain knowledge
And to abide with my Lord and Savior
A cold icy blanket of white is everywhere
The sunlight is causing the snow to glisten
The frozen temperature is definitely no fun
I don't think that I've seen the coldest day yet
The blistery wind is making me numb to the bone
I do not mind the snow; I dislike the ice on the ground
Inside is where I rather be at this moment
I'm sitting in front of the fire
God's Word I read to abide
I'm snuggled up on my sofa
For me, some milk and cookies
The blistery wind slam against my home
It's causing all of us to be chilled to the bone
Snuggled under the blanket
Feeling thankful for everything
Oh how the trees are covered in blankets of snow
Oh how the snow is starting to drift due to wind
Hearing the strong wind blow outside my home
I do not mind being warm inside my cozy abode
I rather be snowed in than to be out in the cold
