Renewal in Spring
I can't wait for spring
The time of renewal
And warmer temps coming
Rain falls down to the ground
Oh what a beautiful season it is
For the grass turns green
And so does the trees
Nature wakes up after a long nap
Rain puddles everywhere around me
It makes me feel free
I'm a child at heart
And want to jump in every puddle around me
Flowers bloom in the field
Where there the winter's snow was
A field of green and color is before me
Oh how happy am I to see it
With cold temps still around
And the hope for warmer temps
Which will soon come
And the calming of the season comes
A peaceful day sitting in the field
Where flowers are all around me
And a day that I can soak in
And just enjoy the peace and quiet
Birds chirping in the trees
For I can't see them
They came home after months
It's music to my ears
