Poetic-Verses

'' What Colour Am I ''

I can love and hate,
Praise or berate,
I can tell the truth and lie,
I can read and write,
Talk peace or fight,
I also live and I die.

My blood flows red,
The brain in my head,
Shows me a bright blue sky,
It has to be said,
I adore butter and bread,
In reality, an ordinary guy.

I can sing and dance,
Others lives I enhance,
At times I refuse to comply,
You I'll seek to advance,
In life's great expanse,
My assistance, I would never deny.

I can work hard,
A pilot or a guard,
Yet sometimes, I'm left high and dry,
In places I'm barred,
Words leave me scarred,
Yet somehow, I always scrape by.

What you can do,
I can do too,
There are things we just cannot buy,
It's perfectly true,
I'm just like you,
Yet some feel the need to ask, why?

I'm totally enabled,
Yet I feel disabled,
I stay silent just to pacify,
No, it's not fabled,
Some have me labelled,
Yet I don't have the right to reply.

I don't want favours,
It's equality one savours,
In my life there's a limited supply,
As opinion waivers,
Like the different flavours,
My problem? there are those who'll decry.

I've tried my best,
Can you pass this test?
If you can't then it does mystify,
If with God you're blessed,
Or with hatred obsessed,
Pray tell me,
