BETRAYAL OF MIND
~BETRAYAL OF MIND~
When words fail
tears dry out
mind goes numb
and you feel
you are in a
Suspended
animation,
There is nothing
that can save you
from feeling like that.
Nothing can save you
from your own self.
When your own mind
betrays you and
thinks the thoughts
that hurts your heart.
You lose control
on your judgement
you feel downward
spiral dragging
drowning
underground.
Nothing would work.
Nothing can save you.
Futile to try fighting
against your mind.
Shutting it all down
Isolating yourself
giving it all up
still, nothing works.
There may be names
for a condition like that
but naming it would not
stop hurting heart
and make it go away.
