Nature’s Loss

(Mankind)

I looked out my window and saw the clouds forming

there was a storm coming that no one would bear

the winds already so fierce they were howling

but to tell the truth I longer give a **** or care.

Nature has worked out that we are just like a cancer

destroying the goodness that runs through her veins

no matter how glorious we believe our endeavours

the reality is we only cause pain.

Our technology has led us to search out space frontiers

fly Helicopters on a Planet man has not been

Hubble has allowed us to see so many great wonders

but in doing so we’ve damaged Natures great dream.

Mankind became Natures greatest invention…

something so very special maybe one of a kind?

But believing we are clever not understanding our blindness

the truth has become almost impossible to find.

We exploit every loop hole to add to our fortune

not caring for the landscape that gave us all life

our Planet has been crying out for years “please don’t hurt me”

now we are just bystanders as we watch our home die.
