Vows Up in the Clouds
A gazillion ways
To say I love you
But none of them
Will ever do.
Talk is cheap
& words are free.
I'll just have
To show you.
I so miss
Hot air balloons
Flying through
The summer sky.
Bright blue sky,
Birds in flight
Flying free
Away up high.
Day dreaming
In the summer clouds
In the warm air.
Days gone by.
Trying not to look down
Gliding through the summer air.
Holding onto your hand.
Dreaming of a wedding band.
Quiet love
Peaceful whispers.
Nothing loud
Or fast-moving.
Careful for your
Triggers.
I look deeply
Into your eyes.
Wedding vows
High up in the clouds.
A future
With the one I love.
We take this step
Together.
Promises of
Forever.
