This Is My Prayer Request
Lord God, this is my prayer request
I pray Lord God that this year will be different
I pray that we all can make a difference in the world
And I pray that we'll bring You all the honor and glory
Lord God, this is my prayer request
I pray everyone will count the small things
They add up just like the big things count
And maybe the small things count maybe more
Lord God, this is my prayer request
Lord Jesus, I pray that we can give bibles
To those who are in need and wanting one
Your Word changes people and lives
Lord God, this is my prayer request
I pray for everyone to have a safe Christmas
And I pray that everyone will be thankful
For it's not about how much one spends
It's not about the decorations or lights
It's not about the tree or food or presents
It's all about being thankful for what we have
And it's all about celebrating Your birth, Lord Jesus
Lord God, this is my prayer request
I pray that many will come to salvation
Through You, Lord Jesus for only You can save
Lord Jesus, I ask that You'll protect Your children
I don't need presents and I don't need lights
I don't need decorations and I don't need a Christmas tree
For what can they do? They can't do a single thing
Let's put our faith in You this year, and help each other, Lord
Lord God, this is my prayer request
Let's all love one another
For love covers multitude of sin
I pray for we all to forgive one another
Let's sing praise and worship songs
For Lord God, I pray we exalt Your name
And we lift You up always and forever
You are the King of kings and Lord of lords
