Lord Jesus, This Is A Prayer That’s On My Heart
Lord Jesus, this is a prayer that's on my heart
Oh, Lord, send me to help those who are in need
Guide me, Lord Jesus, to where You need me
I will gladly go and follow You with no complaint
I pray Lord God, that we will go help our brothers
And I pray that we will go help our sisters too
What we do unto others, we do unto You, Lord Jesus
Help us, I pray to have compassion and love in our hearts
Oh, Lord, there's so many who are in need
We can all make a difference, and I pray we will
Lord, I pray for homeless shelters to open everywhere
And I pray that more soup kitchens will also open
We can all be an answer to someone in need
Lord, I pray for more compassion will be shown
And Lord, I pray that Your love will shine through us
Lord Jesus, this is a prayer that's on my heart
Lord Jesus, this is a prayer that's on my heart
I pray that we'll go find those who are exposed
They are outside in all kinds of weather
With winter here, Lord, many won't make it
Lord God, You know the situation of everyone
And for those who can help, let them help
I pray that You'll send me to help them
I want to be a part of the answer, not the problem
Lord Jesus, this is a prayer that's on my heart
That Lord, Your love and compassion will shine
And that You'll wrap Your loving arms around them
Protect them, I pray from the elements of the weather
Oh, Lord, send me to help those who are in need
Guide me, Lord Jesus, to where You need me
