Who created and formed you, Fear not for He has redeemed; He called you to be pursue, Iniquities to be cleaned. When you pass through the waters, And with you through the rivers; Sheltering in His quarters, Warming you when life shivers. Through fire you will not burn, And not consumed by the flame; Hear the Lord listen and learn, From your lips and tongue proclaim. The Lord is the Holy One, He is your God and Savior; Remember what He has done, Looking on you with favor. You are precious to His eyes, Being honored and cherished; He gives wisdom to be wise, Wants you not to be perished. He gives for you in return, For having eternal life; Through your faith that you can earn, While you cope with the strife. Fear not for He is with you, He will bring seed from the east; From the west they will come too, As they gather for the feast. From the north and from the south, They bring your sons and daughters; Cheering with joy from the mouth, To gather by the waters. Everyone called by His name, Made and formed for His glory; You should not have any shame, By telling of His story. Copyright © 2021 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
