O Jesus - how You love 
The weak and frail - and all those
Whose lives are battered down - from 
War - and famine - and disease - and yet 
In the midst of all our sorrows - You
Are near - to heal our broken 
Lives - and give to us 
Your Everlasting 
Peace .


O Jesus - how You love 
All the children of this fallen world
The little ones - whose smiles can light
A dreary room - especially when they know 
That they are loved - and for those - as 
Yet to know You - as the One - who 
Can give them hope - and fill 
Their hearts with thoughts 
Of heaven - and Your 
Home above .


O Jesus - how You love 
Your Church - with all its diversity
And plans - to reach the lost - both young
And old - and draw them all - as one - into Your
Arms of love - and Your protection - where
They can know You as their Shepherd 
And the safety of Your
Heavenly
Fold .


O Jesus - how You love 
All people everywhere - throughout
This world - from every generation - tribe 
And background - gender - age and colour - for
Only You are able to redeem us - from 
The debt of sin - we owe - through 
Your Redemptive blood - and
Your resurrection 
Power .


O Jesus - how You love 
Us - and You alone - are - our 
Refuge - Help - and Mighty Saviour - our
Redeemer - Sanctifier - Counsellor - and  our 
Everlasting God - You are the One who 
Gives us Life - and that abundant - 
Our Deliverer - and Healer and
Restorer - and You are the
Great - I AM - our King
And You are 
LORD.

Yes Lord .. I thank You that You are
our Everything 

and thank You for Your great love 
for us .. even when we don't deserve
it .

but .. most of all .. thank You for coming
into this world for the specific purpose
of taking our place on a cross..so that
we could be forgiven .. and we could 
become .. children of God .

Yes .. thank You Lord .. for
Your great love 
for us .
