Our Living Hope Has Come

A child was born; a son was given
A hope for the world. and light that came
The Baby Jesus came to earth by a virgin birth
The hope, light, and salvation had come

Baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes
And He was laid in a manger used as His bed
They would call Him Emmanuel, God with us
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, the City of David

God was manifest in the flesh; Justified in the Spirit
He was seen of angels; preached unto the Gentiles
Believed on in the world; received up into glory
The birth of Christ was a blessing and a miracle

Our Lord God gave a sign; a virign would conceive
And a son would be born; call His name Immanuel
A child was born; a son was given; born in Bethlehem
They would call Him Emmanuel, God with us

We celebrate the birth of Christ; He's our living hope
He's our Salvation and the only way to eternal life
Let's all humble ourselves and get down on our knees
And let's all worship and praise Him for who He is

An angel had come to the shepherds in a field by night
He brought good tidings of great joy which would be to all people
In the city of David, Bethlehem, a Saviour was born, Christ the Lord
Glory to God in the highest, peace on earth, and good will to men

Let's all humble ourselves and get down on our knees
And let's all worship and praise Him for who He is
The Baby Jesus came to earth by a virgin birth
The hope, light, and salvation had come

God was manifest in the flesh; Justified in the Spirit
He was seen of angels; preached unto the Gentiles
Believed on in the world; received up into glory
The hope, light, and salvation had come
